RUSSIA PROVES ITS RESPECT FOR ALL RELIGIONS








MOSCOW, March 13 /From RIA Novosti's Pyotr Goncharov, Yevgeny Zainabetdinov/ - At his Moscow meetings, President Mohhamad Khatemi of Iran witnessed the Russian top's respect for all religions that have taken root in Russia. The Iranian president said that to reporters on Tuesday, following his meeting with Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, chairing Russia's Council of Muftis.


	Khatemi expressed confidence that Russian political leaders do their utmost to restore religious life in the country and to raise living standards of Muslims and other believers. He was also confident that Muslims living in the Russian Federation make a notable contribution to the country's development.
