BRIDGE COLLAPSES IN MOSCOW'S HEART THROUGH MISUSED BUILDING TECHNIQUES








MOSCOW, MARCH 13, RIA NOVOSTI - A bridge under construction on Berezhkovsky Embankment in the city centre partly collapsed with badly misused building techniques as three workers poured fifty tonnes of cement slurry into the sheathing to make the job quicker. The bridge fell on the thoroughfare beneath it under a load for which it was not designed, and buried the three. 


	The men were taken from under the debris badly injured, and put to hospital.
