RUSSIAN COMPANY TO BUILD MOTOR HIGHWAY IN NORTHERN INDIA DELHI, March 13. /RIA Novosti correspondent Igor Alexandrov/. Russian company Tsentrdorstroi is to build a motorway in northern India. An appropriate contract costing $120,000 dollars has been concluded between OAO Tsentrdorstroi and the management of India's national roads. As is stipulated by the contract, The Russian company will widen two sections of a national road in Uttar-Pradesh. In that way, the existing 149-km long road will have four instead of two lanes. Two international tenders for the construction of the road have been won by the Russian company together with VO Tyazhpromexport and Indian firm MUKAND. Work will be financed by the World Bank as part of a national road construction project.
