The new State Council presidium has been approved as follows: Nikolai Volkov, governor of the Jewish autonomous region; Sergei Katanandov, chairman of the government of the Republic of Karelia; Valery Kokov, president of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic; Anatoly Lisitsyn, governor of the Yaroslavl region; Leonid Polezhayev, governor of the Omsk region; Murtaza Rakhimov, president of the Republic of Bashkortostan; Alexander Filipenko, governor of the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district.
