ON TUESDAY RUSSIAN RESCUERS TO SEND TWO TRUCK CONVOYS OF AID TO UKRAINE

In a telephone conversation on Monday with his Ukrainian analogue Victor Yuschenko, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov discussed particulars of fulfilling the Russian president's decision to give help to Ukraine. Its western part has been severely damaged by spring floods, said the premier's press secretary Tatyana Razbash.


	She said that the Russian government has decided to send to Ukraine early on Tuesday 150 tonnes of aid on two truck convoys. The cargo includes blankets, special water pumps and foods. (nov/nog)
