RUSSIA'S ECONOMICS MINISTER TO DISCUSS ECONOMIC SITUATION IN KALININGRAD REGION KALININGRAD, MARCH 11, 2001. /RIA Novosti correspondent Vladimir Shirokov/. Russia's Minister of Economic Development and Trade German Gref is on a one-day working visit to the Kaliningrad Region (Russia's western enclave), where he is going to discuss measures for socio-economic development and life-support activity in the region. Mr Gref is accompanied by representatives of different ministries and departments. Owing to the brief visit the guests will be able to see Zelenogradsk, Kurshskaya Kosa, the Amber combine, Svetlogorsk, Baltiisk, ports and the Yantar (Amber) shipbuilding plant only onboard the helicopter.
