ANOTHER OUTRAGEOUS CONTRACT KILLING COMMITTED IN MOSCOW MOSCOW, March 11, 2001. /From RIA Novosti correspondent/. Yet another outrageous contract killing of a state lawyer shocked Moscow this weekend. Yury Vlasov, a state legal adviser of the Third Class who headed the Legal Department of the Moscow region, was stabbed to death along with his 31-year-old driver Viktor Gruzdev. The murder was presumably committed Saturday evening. Both bodies were found in a flat in the capital's Northern District amidst a chaos of overturned furniture and shredded plush toys. The killers had obviously gone around looking for something. Judging by the condition of the door, which bears no signs of having been forced open, the killers were well acquainted with their victims and walked into the flat unimpeded.
