FAMILY OF THE LAST YUGOSLAV KING'S SON RECEIVES YUGOSLAV CITIZENSHIP BELGRADE, March 10, 2001. /RIA Novosti correspondent Rajko Doskovic/ -- The son of the last Yugoslav King Petar, Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, his wife Katarina, sons Filip, Petar and Aleksandar, as well as all other Karadjordjevic family members officially became citizens of Yugoslavia as of March 10. As the RIA Novosti correspondent reports, the Yugoslav Interior Ministry has issued a certificate of Yugoslav citizenship to the Karadjordjevic family. According to the Interior Minister's councillor Goran Vesic, a law has also come into force which annuls the decree under which the Karadjordjevic family was deprived of citizenship and property. -O- (kos/kri) 10/03/01 17:59
