SEARCH FOR 4 MISSING RUSSIAN SAILORS ON VLADIVOSTOK, March 9, 2001 /From RIA Novosti correspondent Anatoly Ilyukhov/ -- A rescue boat, registered with Taiwan's port of Kilung, is continuing search for four missing Russian seamen, members of the crew of the Pamella Dream motorboat which sailed under the Cambodian flag. All vessels located in the area of the Pamella Dream wreck have been told to watch people in the sea, according to the Vladivostok maritime rescue centre, Russia's Far East. The Pamella Dream was carrying mahogany from the port of Tawau, Malaysia's Kalimantan island, to the Republic of Korea. The tragedy occurred during the storm in the Taiwan Strait in 60 miles east of the coast. Twelve seamen out of a 19-men crew have been rescued, 3 killed and the other 4 are considered missing. Kilung rescuers were the first to take up the ship's SOS call.
