AIR FORCE CHIEF ESCAPES INJURY IN ROAD CRASH








MOSCOW, March 7, RIA NOVOSTI. Russian air force chief, General of the Army Anatoly Kornukov emerged unscathed from a traffic accident that occurred on Wednesday morning. 


	Police have reported that the general was travelling in a vehicle that was involved in a crash which occurred on Wednesday morning on the Minsk highway near Kubinka (west of Moscow). There were no injuries.


	Kornukov was taken to the air force base to see a demonstration of up-to-date military hardware for a delegation from the Nigerian government.


	Police believe that the driver of the other car was to blame for the accident.
