MOSCOW AWARE OF TALEBAN BASES AND CAMPS TRAINING TERRORISTS MOSCOW, MARCH 7, RIA NOVOSTI. Moscow has obtained a detailed and reliable information that there is a net of bases and camps training international terrorists on the Taleban-controlled territory of Afghanistan, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ordzhonikidze said Wednesday. Moscow has also received information on the whereabouts of those bases and camps, and the names of instructors, the diplomat added. The Taleban has completely ignored UNSC demands to stop supporting international terrorism, the Russian diplomat said. The UNSC is known to have imposed sanctions on the Taleban leadership mainly because the movement refused to meet this demand. The above-mentioned information was submitted to the UN committee for sanctions against the Taleban, which was set up in accordance with UNSC resolution No. 1333, said Ordzhonikidze.
