VLADIMIR PUTIN SENDS MESSAGE TO KIRGHIZIA'S PRESIDENT MOSCOW, MARCH 7, RIA NOVOSTI. Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message to President Askar Akayev of Kirghizia, expressing full consent with the view about the importance of dynamically developing and deepening relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, RIA Novosti was told in the presidential press-service on Wednesday. Putin thanked Akayev for the invitation to visit Kirghizia on an official visit and emphasised that he was pleased to accept it. The date of the visit will be agreed through diplomatic channels. The message highlights the need for good practical preparation for the coming visit and above all fulfilment of existing agreements reached in the course of bilateral negotiations in Moscow in July 2000.
