COUNCIL OF EUROPE: THE SITUATION ON THE MACEDONIAN-YUGOSLAV BORDER IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS VIENNA, March 6, 2001. /RIA Novosti correspondent Borislav Pechnikov/. The Council of Europe made a statement to express its grave concern over "an extremely dangerous situation on the Macedonian-Yugoslav border", which evolved as a result of Albanian extremists' actions. The statement was made public in Vienna, at a special session of the permanent council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The session is attended by representatives of all the 55 OSCE member states, including Yugoslavia, Macedonia and Albania.
