Military hardware given by Bulgaria to the Macedonian army could be used in clashes with Albanian extremists in Macedonia on the border with Yugoslavia's Kosovo, opines the Bulgarian press. According to it, in 1999 Bulgaria gave Macedonia 94 T-55 tanks of Soviet make and 108 howitzers, as well as travelling workshops for servicing them. In addition to them were given spare parts, tools and ammunition.
