RUSSIA DETERMINED TO RETAIN DEMOCRACY: PUTIN








MOSCOW, March 6. /RIA Novosti/. Russia will spare no efforts to remain true to democratic progress. Its democratic institutions will not be ruined, President Vladimir Putin firmly said in an internet interview.


	Russia will cling to its democratic developmental patterns to improve political arrangements in the community, encourage civil society and put ruling structures under public control as long as he is president. "We shall be consistent and purposeful in those efforts. I am sure Russia has no alternative to democratic progress and market-oriented economy," he stressed.
