SOCIETY CONSOLIDATION SETS IN IN RUSSIA ST.PETERSBURG, March 6. /RIA Novosti's correspondent Dina Danilova/. Consolidation of civic society has begun in Russia, believes presidential plenipotentiary Victor Cherkesov in the North-Western federal district. He said this at meeting with journalists on Tuesday. To him, despite differences between them, political forces in Russian parliament and executive power structures "are seeking to resolve problems within the constitution". Another manifestation of consolidation is that radicals, be it left- of right-wing, no longer have a substantial influence on life in the country. "In real politics most questions are resolved on the centrist basis", believes Vladimir Putin's representative. He also said that, for all the difference of opinion and positions, all the political forces of Russia are unanimous that it must "take a worthy place in the world community".
