RF FOREIGN MINISTRY CONGRATULATES RUSSIAN MOSLEMS








MOSCOW, MARCH 5, RIA NOVOSTI. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Aleksander Yakovenko has said the Foreign Ministry congratulated Russian Moslems who got together in Mecca after the pilgrimage on their religious holiday and wished them all the best.


	Yakovenko said the Russian Ministry took an active part in the organization of the pilgrimage of Russian Moslems to Islamic holy places in Mecca. According to the diplomat, almost 4000 Russian citizens residing in the Moscow region, Daghestan, Tatarstan, Chechnya and other regions went to Saudi Arabia.
