PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA ARRIVES IN MOSCOW FOR A VISIT MOSCOW, March 5. /From a RIA Novosti correspondent/. President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo has arrived in Moscow for a three-day official visit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is the first visit of the President of Nigeria to Russia. At the airport the distinguished guest was met by Vice-Premier Ilya Klebanov, as well as the ambassadors of the African countries accredited in Moscow. In the evening Olugusen Obasajo will watch the "Swan Lake" ballet at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theatre. The official part of the visit of the head of the Nigerian state will start on Tuesday. President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo was elected head of state in 1999 at the country's first ever democratic elections.
