RUSSIA-BELARUS UNION STATE'S 2001 BUDGET APPROVED MOSCOW, MARCH 2, 2001. /RIA Novosti's correspondent Pavel Shevtsov/. The 17th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Russia-Belarus Union state has approved as a whole the 2001 budget at 2.36 billion roubles. 1.52 billion roubles of it are deductions to the revenue of Russia and 0.82 billion to that of Belarus. Opening up, Parliamentary Assembly chairman Gennady Seleznev, chairman of Russia's State Duma, reported that the adopted budget will have to get approval from the Union's Supreme State Council on April 2, the day of the 5th anniversary of the Union State. Gennady Seleznev also said that the next session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Russia-Belarus Union will take place in a Belarussian city most probably in May. Belarus will say later where and when exactly, said Seleznev.
