DANISH AND GERMAN BUSINESSMEN TO INVEST IN KALININGRAD REGION KALININGRAD, March 2, 2001. /From RIA Novosti correspondent Vladimir Shirokov/--The St. Petersburg Institute of Regional Development has set about to draft an economic program for one of the districts of the Kaliningrad region, a Russian enclave on the Baltic Sea. The program, which focuses on revival of agriculture and small businesses in the region's Ozyorsk district, will be carried out with the help of Danish and German businessmen. Since the beginning of the year, investors from Denmark and Germany have travelled twice to the district centre of Ozyorsk to confirm their intentions to invest in the local creamery and machine and tractor station, reports the district's administration.
