WORK ON DRAFT BUDGET FOR 2002 BEGINS IN RUSSIA








MOSCOW, MARCH 1, 2001.  /From RIA Novosti Correspondent Alla Isayeva/.  Russia's Ministry for Economic Development and Trade and the Finance Ministry have been instructed to present to the government, within the next two weeks, a draft resolution on preparing the forecast of the country's socio-economic development and a draft federal budget for 2002. RIA Novosti learned this from the Government Information Department after a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers which discussed the government's tasks in the sphere of the economic policy for the current year.
