TURKEY PROVIDES MILITARY AID TO AZERBAIJAN








BAKU, March 1, 2001. /Gerai Dadashev, RIA Novosti Correspondent/. Turkey will provide Azerbaijan with free military aid worth $3m in keeping with the intergovernmental agreement "On Free Military Aid" and the Protocol of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Turkey On Financial Aid, the Azeri Defense Ministry's press service announced.


	"The strengthening of military cooperation between the two countries is required of us by history and the future," the press service pointed out.
