Following the extraordinary commercial and technical success of web search over fixed platforms, many experts consider mobile search is likely to become the "next big thing". For several years the IPTS has been studying the market dynamics of this important sector, and in particular the techno-economic and socio-economic aspects of mobile search [3,4,5,6,7], in collaboration with reputed professionals in the field.
