The next Think-Tank on "the Future of Music Search, Access and Consumption" will be co-located with MIDEM 2011 in Cannes, France, January 24, 2011.
The aim of the 3rd CHORUS+ Think-Tank is to discuss the challenges of the European music market in an international context and to assess the business and societal impact of current and future music search and recommendation technologies and services. So far the digital changeover has been highly disruptive to the music business. We would like to identify what is lying ahead, especially from a technological viewpoint with regard to latest technologies emerging from R&D. The goal of this think-tank is to establish, with highly qualified market and technology experts, a - hopefully - consensual understanding of, and outlook on, the future of future musical services, to identify crucial technologies in relation to search and to outline the map of key enabling technologies in the area.
