The fifth Summer School for Multimedia Semantics
This successful summer school series started in 2006, each year offering top level education at a variety of European locations for students from all over the world. The summer school is aimed at PhD students who want to learn about the connections between media analysis and knowledge representation, including basic and more advanced lectures in both fields. The lectures are given by leading researchers in the field. Student poster sessions will give participants the opportunity to present their work, get comments and feedback from senior researchers, and exchange ideas with other participants. The main topic of this year is: Managing and Modeling of Multimedia and User Generated Content in Web 3.0.
