The MediaEval benchmarking initiative offers tasks in multimedia access and retrieval including tagging, geo-tagging, affect detection, linking and passage retrieval. Archival and creative commons Internet video datasets are provided. MediaEval 2010 follows VideoCLEF 2008-2009 under sponsorship of PetaMedia, an EU Network of Excellence.
