Work Package WP6: Environmental protection application (A2)

Objectives:

The objective of the work package is to develop the application of GIS - data warehouse interconnection in the field of environment protection in Czech Republic. Close co-operation with the IMIP (Municipal Informatics Institute of Prague) Institute is supposed.

Tasks:

6.1 Requirements specification for application A2

Responsible: LUM

Partners: CTU, VUT

Objective: The requirements for functionality of the GIS - data warehouse application A2 will be specified reflecting the conditions and needs acquired from the IMIP. In particular, data structures, volumes of available data and specific data confidentiality should be described.

Deliverable: Technical report TR11 – “Application A2 specification”

6.2 A2 prototype implementation

Responsible: LUM

Partners: CTU, VUT, UE

Objective: A GIS - data warehouse application A1 will be implemented. The requirements from specification TR11 should be fulfilled.

Deliverable: Software prototype SP5 – “Prototype of application A2”

6.3 A2 final testing and documentation

Responsible: CTU

Partners: UE, VUT, LUM

Objective: After the analyses of data integrity and security within WP3, the application A1 will be tested and tuned in co-operation with the IMIP. Finally it will be documented and presented.
