Work Package WP5: Monument protection application (A1)

Objectives:

The objective of the work package is to develop the application of GIS - data warehouse interconnection in the field of historical monument protection in Czech Republic. Close co-operation with the Monument Institute in Ceske Budejovice is supposed.

Tasks:

5.1 Requirements specification for application A1

Responsible: VEGA

Partners: CTU, VUT

Objective: The requirements for functionality of the GIS - data warehouse application A1 will be specified reflecting the conditions and needs acquired from the Monument Institute in Ceske Budejovice. In particular, data structures, volumes of available data and specific data confidentiality should be described.

Deliverable: Technical report TR8 – “Application A1 specification”

5.2 A1 prototype implementation

Responsible: CERT

Partners: CTU, VUT, UE

Objective: A GIS - data warehouse application A1 will be implemented. The requirements from specification TR8 should be fulfilled.

Deliverable: Software prototype SP4 – “Prototype of application A1”

5.3 A1 final testing and documentation

Responsible: CTU

Partners: UE, VUT, CERT

Objective: After the analyses of data integrity and security within WP3, the application A1 will be tested and tuned in co-operation with the Monument Institute in Ceske Budejovice. Finally it will be documented and presented.
