Work Package WP4: Data mining and KDD

Objectives:

The objective of the work package is to analyse the specific problems of data mining on data warehouse platform. In particular the work package aims to design necessary modifications of current machine-learning methods and develop a library (tool) of adopted data mining algorithms.

Tasks:

4.1 KDD techniques package design

Responsible: TUK

Partner: CTU, LUM

Objective: Proper machine-learning will be selected to be adopted for data mining purposes. Their modifications will be developed.

4.2 KDD techniques package implementation

Responsible: TUK

Partner: CTU, VEGA

Objective: Prototype of the KDD package will be implemented

Deliverable: Software prototype SP7 – “KDD techniques package”

4.3 KDD experiments

Objective: KDD package will be tested and evaluated

Deliverable: Technical report TR16 – “KDD package evaluation”

Dissemination: 2 conference papers
