Work Package WP3: Data integrity and security

Objectives:

The objective of the work package is to analyse the needs and available methods ensuring the data security in data warehouses in general. In particular this work package aims to provide know-how in data security to all design and implementation activities in the other work packages.

Tasks:

3.1 Concept of security in data warehouses

Responsible: UE

Partner: VUT, CTU

Objective: A general concept for data warehouse security will be studied and a thorough analysis of available methods will be proposed.

Deliverable: Technical report TR6 – “Data security concepts”

Dissemination: 1 conference paper

3.2 OLAP security layer

Responsible: UE

Partner: VUT, CTU

Objective: The concepts from TR6 will be used in specification of the data security layer in data warehouse OLAP engine.

Deliverable: Technical report TR7 – “Security layer specification”

3.3 Data integrity and security evaluation of applications

Responsible: UE

Partners: CTU, LUM, VEGA, TUK

Objective: The integrity and security of data in applications developed within WP5 and WP6 will be analysed and the results will be evaluated and documented.

Deliverable: Technical report TR10 – “Security evaluation report”

Dissemination: 1 journal paper
