Work Package WP1: Integration Module

Objectives:

The objective of the work package is to develop the integration module enabling possible the mutual interconnection of the data warehouse and the geographical information system.

Tasks:

1.1 Integration module specification

Responsible: CTU

Partners: VUT, LUM, UE

Objective: All the necessary requirements for functionality of the integration module will be identified in order to provide complete and consistent interconnection between data warehouse and general distributed data sources. Particularly underlying transformational metadata should be specified.

Deliverable: Technical report TR4 – “Integration module specification”

1.2 Integration module prototype implementation

Responsible: CTU

Partners: VUT, LUM, CERT

Objective: A prototype of integration module will be implemented. The requirements in specification TR4 should be fulfilled.

Deliverable: Software prototype SP2 – “Prototype of integration module”

1.3 Integration module documentation

Responsible: CTU

Objective: The documentation of integration module will be produced. It is necessary to provide other participants with information about usage and interfaces of the integration module.

Deliverable: Technical report TR5 – “Integration module documentation”

1.4 Specification of spatial knowledge representation

Responsible: TUK

Partner: CTU, LUM

Objective: To define data and metadata standards for spatial knowledge representation. It will ensure a consistent interconnection between data warehouse and the geographical information system.

Deliverable: Technical report TR13 – “Specification of background spatial knowledge representation”
