THE SENATEURS WILL APPROVE THE LAW ON THE AMENDMENTS WITH THE
BUDGET-2001, ESTIMATES THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
FEDERATION








MOSCOW, March 14.  (Corr. Ria " Novosti ").  Egor Stroiev, president
of the Council of the Federation (Upper House of the Russian
Parliament), east persuades that the Upper House will approve, holds
its meeting of Wednesday, the law on the amendments has to bring to
the budget-2001.

According to Stroiev, the adoption of this law is necessary
considering Russia must refund this year all the debts exterieures
with the international financial organizations.

" For the moment, the senateurs do not have reasons for decliner this
law ", A declares Stroiev with the journalists before the beginning of
the meeting.

According to the president of the Upper House, it A examines Tuesday,
during one hour and half, the problem of the accumulation of the
budget-2001 with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance
Alexei Koudrine.  " the accumulation of the budget depasse the
forecasts, which is sufficient as well to implement the social
programs in Russia as to refund the debts exterieures ", pointed out
Stroiev.
