RUSSIA A PROHIBITS THE PIGMEAT IMPORTATION OF GREAT BRITAIN








MOSCOW, March 2.  / Corr.  RIA " Novosti " Alexandre CHICHLO /. the
service veterinaire of Russia prohibited the pigmeat importation of
Great Britain, has advertisement Friday the Russian ministry of
Agriculture.




February 22 the importation of pig of the United Kingdom had ete
suspended because of the case more and more frequents of
foot-and-mouth disease in this country.  Then the Russian doctors
veterinaires had request has their British colleagues to provide them
the official data on the disease of the animals.




Since the beginning of the years 1990, Russia avoids importing beef of
Great Britain.
