THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT DISCUSSES MEASUREMENTS OF IMPROVEMENT OF THE
CLIMATE OF INVESTMENT

impossible to improve the climate of investment in Russia without
decreasing the number of the administrative barriers which block the
development of the business, A declares Friday Russian the Prime
Minister Mikhail Kassianov, at a meeting of the government consacree
to the means of instigating the commercial activity in Russia.

Accordingly, Prime Minister A proposes to examine three principal
questions, of which " most sensitive " is that of reduction of the
activities necessitant a licence.  It is also necessary to simplify
the mechanism of recording of the commercial structures and to
decrease the pressure of the bodies of control of State on the
business world, estimates the Prime Minister.
