AN INTERNATIONAL NAVY EXHIBITION WILL BE HELD TO COMMEMORATE 300TH ANNIVERSARY OF SAINT PETERSBURG








MOSCOW, 6 March. /RIA Novosti correspondent/. Chairman of the Russian Federation government Mikhail Kasyanov signed the directive to hold in 2003 in Saint Petersburg  an international Navy exhibition during the period of festivities to commemorate 300th anniversary of the city. Vice-premier Ilya Klebanov was appointed chairman of the Organizing committee to prepare for the event.


	The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to provide necessary assistance to representatives of foreign states invited to participate in the exhibition.


	According to the Department of government information, potential customers of the Russian Navy ship-building products are planned to be invited to take part in the exhibition.
