RUSSIAN FRONTIER-GUARDS NOTE INTENSIVE SHOOTING IN AFGHANISTAN








DUSHANBE, MARCH 3, 2001. /RIA Novosti correspondent  Nazhmidin Azizov/ -- Russian frontier-guards note an intensive shooting from guns, tanks and grenade-launchers on the territory of Afghanistan opposite to frontier outposts of Karaul-Tyube,  Faizabad-Kala and Kupletin of the Pyandzh frontier-guard  detachment. According to the press service of the Russian  frontier-guard group in Tajikistan, the Moscow and Pyandzh  frontier-guard detachments continue fulfilling their tasks  intensively.
