RUSSIA EFFECTS ANOTHER PAYMENT TO PARIS CLUB MOSCOW, March 2, 2001. /From RIA Novosti correspondent/--The Russian financial ministry has instructed Vnesheconombank to transfer $32.246 million of Soviet-era debt to the Paris Club of Creditors as an additional payment for February, reported a source close to the government. According to the source, Vnesheconombank /who is the government's payment agent for external debt/ will transfer the money either today or on Monday. In March, Russia intends to pay around $42 million of Soviet-era debt to the Paris Club in accordance with the original payment schedule, as well as half of the delayed January payment, which amounted to $298 million.
