VLADIMIR PUTIN'S VISIT TO VIETNAM OVER HANOI, March 2, 2001. /From RIA Novosti special correspondent/--His visit to Vietnam over, President Vladimir Putin has taken a plane back to Moscow. On the last day of his visit, Putin visited the Ho Chi Minh memorial complex, laid a wreath to the monument of Vietnamese heroes, viewed the Temple of Literature, an 11th-century cultural and historical monument, and met with General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party Le Kha Phieu. Before his departure, the Russian president held a meeting with graduates of Soviet and Russian higher educational establishments and Vietnamese students of Russia's culture and language.
