According to a RIA Novosti correspondent, Vladimir V. Putin said this at a press conference in Hanoi. To quote the Russian head of state, the Declaration on strategic partnership signed by the two presidents today runs that Russia and Vietnam will boost global and regional stability and peace, and the top priority in this connection is assigned to strengthening confidence in the Asia-Pacific region.
