RUSSIA * FOREIGN DEBTS * PAYMENT








TODAY PAYMENT WITH DEBTS of the EX USSR OPPOSITE THAT PARIS CLUB
EXPECTS MOSCOW, 12 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" Korr. /.  Russia will pay
today, as expects, about 0.2 back billion dollar with debts of the ex
USSR opposite that Paris creditor club.  That indicated the RIA "
Nowosti " one intimate source to the government.

After its words this total will contain the March payment in
accordance with the time schedule as well as half of the January
payment come into delay.  In former times it was indicated that Russia
was guessed/advised million dollar in January with payments to that
Paris club at a value of approximately 298 in delay.

It is reminded of the fact that Russia paid million dollar with debts
opposite that Paris club in January 32, in February about 1.26 billion
dollar and starting from at the beginning of March 32.2 million
dollar.

Altogether the range of the payments of the Russian page will amount
to with debts of the ex USSR opposite that Paris club in the year 2001
zirka 3.7 billion dollar.  The debts of the ex USSR opposite that
Paris creditor club constitute about 40 billion dollar.
