RUSSIA DOES NOT PROVE THE TALIBAN A MILITARY ASSISTANCE








MOSCOW, 11 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" Korr. /.  Russia rendered and
proves no military and technical aid to the Afghan Taliban movement
these not.  That said a highranking representative of the Ministry of
Defense in its statement to a new decree of the president Vladimir
Putin of the RIA " Nowosti " opposite.  The decree was published on
Sunday and determines additional limitations regarding the territory
of Afghanistan, which is controlled by the Taliban.

The representative of the Russian office for military explained that
it keeps all regulations of the UN security council No. 1333 over
sanctions against the Taliban strictly.  To the Taliban regime to
agreement with the decree of the president no military products,
technologies of double purpose as well as completion and spare parts
are supplied.  On the territory controlled by the Taliban there were
never and do not give it today not Russian military advisers and -,
the representative of the Ministry of Defense underlined specialists.
