RANGE OF THE CASH BASE IN RUSSIA








MOSCOW, 11 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" Korr. /.  According to
specification of the central bank of Russia the range of the cash base
in the country had amounted by 5 March 2001 to 492,5 billion rouble.
In the course of the week, since 26 February 2001, this code digit was
reduced by 2,2 billion rouble.

The cash base places the cash, excluded residues with its checkouts,
given by the central bank in circulation, and the min the reserve with
means in national currency, mobilized from credit organizations, which
are deposited with the central bank of Russia.
