RANGE OF THE GOLD AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE RESERVES OF RUSSIA








MOSCOW, 7 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" Korr. /.  The range of the gold and
foreign exchange reserves of Russia had amounted by 2 March 2001 to
28,3 billion dollar opposite 28,7 billion dollar by 23 February 2001.
  That one indicated today the RIA to " Nowosti " in the section PR
and external relations of the central bank of Russia.

Thus the range of the gold and foreign exchange reserves in the course
of the week decreased/went back around 400 million dollar.
