OF WHITE RUSSIA GOVERNMENT IDEA OF THE ENTRY OF THE REPUBLIC TO THE WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS GENEVA, 7 March. / RIA "Nowosti" rIA-"Nowosti"-Korrespondent Alexej Lipowezki /. in the Byelorussian government one supports the idea of the entry of white Russia to the world trade organization (WHO). The avowed deputy minister of foreign affairs of white Russia Alexander Michnewitsch, member of the Byelorussian delegation on the negotiations for the question of the entry of white Russia to the WHO, taking place in Geneva. Michnewitsch noticed at the same time that in white Russia the adjustment to the question of the participation to the WHO is uneindeutig. Many is not quite clear it, which WHO is and the country gets which advantages upon the entry to this organization. After its words it is approaching to solve on the way of the link of white Russia to the WHO particularly complicated problems in the area of the agriculture, the textile industry, the chemical industry and mechanical engineering where one must protect the interests of the own goods producers. After words of Michnewitsch white Russia can make concessions, however the consideration of its position in such sectors of the economy as for example agriculture will require, where for instance third of the population of the republic is busy. The representative of white Russia stressed also a regular and open character of the consultations and the exchange with the Russian delegation, which is in similar process of the negotiations with the WHO, but larger experiences has and than white Russia continued to advance. Michnewitsch means that co-operation with Russia in this regard improved lately substantially.
