MOSCOW REQUIRES EXPLANATIONS OF WASHINGTON REGARDING THE SECRET
TUNNEL








MOSCOW, 5 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" Korr. /.  On Monday the
representative had been quoted ad interim the USA in Russia to the
State Department of the RF.

As one indicated in the Russian State Department, an official writing
with the request was transferred to him to describe the position of
the US State Department in connection with the messages appeared in
American mass media over the establishment of an espionage tunnel at
the beginning of the 80's under the building of the Soviet message in
Washington for hearing.

If these messages will prove to be true, one indicated in the State
Department of Russia, then the question can rise over the roughest
violation of the generally accepted standards of international law,
which apply in the whole world in relation to the foreign diplomatic
agencies.
